The Answer - On and OnThe Answer came bursting in to the mainstream two years ago and played Hyde Park Calling supporting rock gods Aerosmith. They didn’t look out of place and have gone from strength to strength with their debut album “Rise” being a huge hit selling over 100,000 worldwide.

Now they are back, on tour with AC/DC and with a new album “Everyday Demons”.The new single for this album is “On and On” and it’s a rocker!  This is a hard hitting sledge-hammer of a track that will have even the most conservative types nodding their heads and stamping their feet.

This track kicks off with a real smash and grab riff and combines these throughout the song with some nice little bluesy licks. (not unlike a certain Jimmy Page’s style). The band has been drawing comparisons to the likes of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith for some time and it’s easy to see why.  On this track Cormac Neeson’s vocals are raw and edgy and this coupled with Paul Mahon’s guitar give the song a real flair. With a fantastic rhythm section backing them up with a solid and driving beat.

With a relatively simple chorus that people will really be able to sing along to this track looks set to be a hit, however it does face the danger of being perhaps a little too heavy to really break in to the top 10 for a sustained period of time. This is a real shame but the bands style just doesn’t seem to fit in to what the single-buying demographic are listening to at the moment.  Surely though, this track will top the rock charts and deservedly so.
