Spears in emergency meeting
Troubled star Britney Spears held an emergency meeting with ex-husband Kevin Federline this past Wednesday to discuss their custody battle over their two sons.
The singer met up with her former partner in an attempt to resolve their issues before they have to appear in court on Monday. Reports claim that the meeting did not go as Spears had hoped, as Federline rejected her proposals.
A source said: “Britney asked for (the meeting). She wants to put an end to this public debacle. However, Kevin (has) refused. He needs more money so he’s determined to win this.”
But another source, close to Federline, told People magazine: “He’s not going for additional child support in the court papers that were filed. It’s not about the money.”
