RadioheadRadiohead has delighted fans, and confused sections of the music industry, by announcing that punters will be able to choose how much to pay for the band’s next album, In Rainbows, which is available for download on 10th October.

The group’s website simply says “it’s up to you” and confirms things by adding: “No really, it’s up to you.”

Fans can buy the download for their decided price or a £40 “discbox”, which will includes two CDs, two records, plus artwork and booklets.

“In Rainbows” will be Radiohead’s seventh album, and their first without a record label, as they have fulfilled their contract with EMI following their 2003 album Hail to the Thief.
